CONFERENCE INFORMATION
Ladies,
I hope you enjoyed a joyful and blessed Christmas season. Celebrating the birth of our Lord is always a wonderful occasion. As the New Year begins, we’re organizing our Spring events for the women’s ministry. I encourage you to consider bringing a group to this year’s Calvary Chapel regional Women’s Gathering. Calvary Chapel Stone Mountain in Georgia will host the event from April 16-18. We will start on Thursday at 7:00 PM, have a full day of sessions on Friday, and finish before lunch on Saturday.
Our theme this year is “cultivating fruits of the spirit,” focusing on the nine different fruits found in Galatians 5:22-23 that develop in our lives as we abide in Christ. The teachings will focus on how we can nurture these fruits in our daily lives. By “abiding in Christ,” we position ourselves to grow the fruits of His Spirit. The growth of these fruits is not passive; it requires intentional effort, purposeful care, and study. Just as a farmer learns to tend to each crop, we too need to nurture our thoughts, desires, and motives to maximize the potential of each fruit. Since each fruit serves a unique role in our lives, we need specific understanding of what hinders and what promotes their growth. My goal is to equip each of us with the tools necessary for cultivating these fruits to full ripeness.
I’m especially excited about the speakers we’ve arranged. This year, I’ve invited several women from outside our region with years of experience to share with us. The website offers all the details about the speakers. You’ll see many new faces, and I believe you will be truly blessed.
For more detailed information, refer to the website. We have also prepared a PDF for your download. All registrations will be done through the website. The registration deadline is March 30th, but it is only when space is available. The deadline does not guarantee your group a spot. When we reach our maximum capacity, we will close off registration. In 2024, we had to close registration early, so I highly suggest that your ladies register early.
Make sure to secure your own accommodations before arrival, as they are limited. Many of you arrived early and ate dinner at the church on Thursday; you are welcome to use the pavilion’s tables again. Lunch and dinner will be provided on Friday.
Because of the sensitive and mature nature of the sharing, we are restricting this event to high school students and older.
If you have any other questions, please get in touch with me directly. I will assist you. Again, I pray you will come and join us for this event.

Throughout her years of leadership in Women’s Ministry, Robin has had the privilege of walking closely with women through times of growth, loss, faith, and renewal. Her heart is to provide a place where women are encouraged, supported, and pointed to the faithfulness of God and the unwavering foundation of His Word in every season of life. Drawing from decades of ministry and personal experience, she speaks with warmth, honesty, and grace, encouraging women to rest in God’s faithfulness and walk forward with fresh hope.

Merrily Hagerman is the wife of Jerel Hagerman from Joshua Springs Calvary Chapel. Jerel is the President of Calvary Bible Institute and Merrily also teaches the female students. She teaches a weekly bible study at Joshua Springs, and she has been sharing the Word with women over 40 years, as it is her passion to encourage, uplift, and share her heart through transparency. Together with a blended family they have 17 very loved grandchildren from 1 to 24 years old. She shares at conventions and retreats internationally as well as in the US, and is also involved with a school/orphanage in Malawi Africa for 17 years. Merrily is called to bring the Light of Jesus wherever and whenever possible as she considers serving God an honor and priviledge.

Vi Goodrich began her journey with the Lord in 1975, when she and her husband, Bill, responded to an invitation given by Mike MacIntosh during a service in San Diego, California. That decision marked the beginning of a lifelong calling in ministry. She spent 10 years serving as an assistant pastor’s wife at Horizon San Diego before following God’s call to Indianapolis, where she faithfully served alongside her husband as a lead pastor’s wife at Horizon Indianapolis for 40 years. Married for 52 years and blessed with three children and six grandchildren. Vi is a woman led by love – she deeply loves her husband, her children, and her grandchildren, but above all, she loves the Lord. Her passion is the Word of God. She treasures the sweetness of fellowship, believes in the transforming power of God in lives, and is devoted to winning souls and mentoring women to develop a deep and lasting passion for the Lord.

Kathy Adams is married to Pastor Sandy and leads the women’s ministry at CCSM. Although she is now retired, she began her nursing career in 1980 and continues to minister in healthcare by participating in dental mission trips. Over the years, her passion for bringing the Bible to life and highlighting its relevance led her to write several Bible studies for women. She is a mother of four grown children, all of whom are married, and with their twelve children, she keeps busy as a grandmother. When she’s not at church, she looks for ways to “sprinkle and twinkle” her faith in the community. She also enjoys gardening, reading, and playing tennis.

Jenny Houston is married to Pastor Matt Houston, Worship Leader at CCSM. They have been married for 15 years and have three beautiful children: Lucas, Emma, and Levi. Jenny has been attending Calvary Chapel her whole life and has served alongside Matt since 2011. Jenny also teaches math at Scholars Guild Academy, where she enjoys investing in students both academically and spiritually. In her free time, Jenny enjoys baking, playing games with friends and family, and reading.
