CONFERENCE THEME:
BUILDING BLOCKS FOR CALVARY CHAPEL LEADERS
A pastor wears multiple hats. He is a leader, a teacher, a shepherd, and most significantly a Christian. And to be an effective pastor he needs to excel at all the above. The 2022 Deep South Conference will focus on building blocks to help Calvary Chapel pastors grow in each of these vital roles.
This year we’ll be joined by several regional CCA leaders. Steve Whinery from the Pacific Northwest, Dave Love from the Rocky Mountains, Lance Ralston from Central California, and Jim Stewart from the country’s heartland, along with pastors from our own region will be teaching. We have also arranged this year’s schedule around more opportunities for fellowship. We’ll provide three meals on campus: dinner both evenings, and Tuesday lunch. BBQ and watermelon are again on the menu! Like last year Q&As will be sprinkled in over the three days to allow more interaction. And as always my wife, Kathy, will gather the pastors wives.
Most importantly, we have a promise. Where two or three gather in Jesus’ name He’ll be among us. I hope you too will join us this September 5-7.
